Course Overview
The PADI Seal team adventure is designed for young divers who are looking for action packed fun in a pool, being introduced to the basics of safe diving in a play environment as not yet old enough to start on the Junior Open Water course.
What Do I need to Start?
You need to be 8 years old or over
Complete the following Medical statements (if a YES on this form then an additional medical needs to be signed by a Physician)
What Will I do?
Over three pool sessions you will complete FIVE AquaMissions,
Each AquaMission is designed to teach the basics of diving, just like the adults - things like buoyancy control, mask skills and regulator recovery which you then get to integrate with underwater games

Materials
Each of our Seal Team members receive their own Special Seal Team crewpack that includes everything a PADI Seal Team member needs to prepare for their AquaMissions:

How Long Does it Take?
Over three sessions on Saturdays generally, you will meet your PADI Professional at the dive centre at 16:30 for a full briefing and equipment preparation, followed by a 2 hour pool session 18:00 - 20:00
The pool session is held at Oakham School, Kilburn Road, Oakham, Rutland
Each session also requires a parent/guardian to be present throughout.
Any Other Costs?
We do strongly advise for hygiene purpose that all students own their own mask and snorkel.
Parents or Guardians
The best part of the AquaMissions is that they reinforce safe diving and build water confidence while the young divers are having fun. PADI Seals get to sample a wide variety of dives. In addition, this programme provides a structure for young divers to develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, clean fun.
This is also an excellent introduction to SCUBA diving prior to full Open Water Diver certification

Perhaps you would like to snorkel or even dive with the children - see what they do and wave back? Many adults would like to photograph or film their children whilst diving. Please talk to us first if you wish to do so. We can also supply underwater cameras for you and the young diver to use during their experience!

What is the Next Adventure?
Become a Master Seal by completing 10 extra AquaMissions ranging from night diving to Underwater photography
Or
Become a fully fledged diver and go and explore the oceans, lakes and seas we have in this country and around the world by becoming an Open Water diver (Junior)
Prior to any Diver training course students need to complete a Mandatory Medical Questionaire.
Please ensure that you have read the Medical Statement and are sure that you will be able to commence any diver training PRIOR to paying as our Training Terms Conditions apply after payment has been made.
A doctor's confirmation of fitness to dive is required if you answer YES to any medical condition on the Medical Statement.
