The Apeks Surface Marker Buoy is not only the perfect surface marker but can also double as an emergency float. Its brass eyelets allow the diver to fold the unit and secure it into a floating loop using bolt snaps, adding versatility to its use. The unique oral inflation valve ensures easy one-handed operation even in cold water, making it user-friendly in various diving conditions. The 2” stainless steel D-ring facilitates easy attachment to your reel or spool, while the brass eyelets at the top allow for the attachment of additional accessories like a torch, strobe, or slate.

With SOLAS reflective tape on both sides, the Apeks SMB ensures maximum visibility, even in rough seas and darkness. The simple bungee closure system with an enlarged rubber pull tab allows for easy stowage and deployment, even when wearing gloves. The SMB is designed with durability in mind, featuring fully taped and heat-sealed edges, a reflective logo print, and an over-pressure relief valve with a pull toggle for ease of use.
