About XDEEP

XDEEP are a Polish dive equipment manufacturer who design and produce their gear in-house, working closely with instructors and technical divers. The range centres on backplate, wing and sidemount systems.

Their stated philosophy is that every detail matters. In practice the range is modular: a backplate, wing, sidemount system or accessory is meant to be combined and adjusted rather than bought as a fixed unit. That suits divers from recreational backplate users through to those running twins or sidemount.

XDEEP is best known for its sidemount and backmount systems, developed alongside instructors and explorers. The Stealth sidemount range and the Zen and Zeos backmount systems are the ones divers ask us about most.

Here at Dive Rutland we stock XDEEP because the systems are genuinely modular: plate, harness, wing and ballast are separate decisions, and parts can be replaced or reconfigured as your diving changes rather than replaced wholesale.

Our XDEEP range covers complete systems and the parts that go with them:

• Backmount wing systems — NX Zen and Zen Ultralight, Zeos 28 and Zeos 38, Project and Hydros, as complete systems or as wings only.
• Sidemount — the Stealth 2.0 range in Classic, REC and TEC configurations, with redundant bladder options, plus the Ghost setup.
• Backplates and harnesses — aluminium, stainless steel and NX Series ultralight backplates, DIR harnesses, and NX Series Standard and Deluxe harness and backplate sets.
• Weight and trim — central, backmount and sidemount weight and trim pockets, and single tank adapters in aluminium, stainless steel and ultralight versions.
• Harness hardware — bent and straight D-rings, single and double-ended boltsnaps, tri-gliders, buckles, webbing, crotch straps and cam bands.

Configuring an XDEEP rig

Backplate and wing systems are modular by design: the plate, the harness, the wing and the ballast are separate choices, and the right combination depends on the cylinders you dive, the suit you wear and whether you are diving a single, twins or sidemount. Lift, plate material and weighting all interact, so there is no single correct setup we can print here.

Check the manufacturer specification for the lift and sizing of any wing you are considering. If you are new to backplate diving, or moving across to sidemount, come and talk to us before you order — a rig that has not been set up around you is uncomfortable and harder to trim.
