This comprehensive 3-Day First Aid at Work Training Course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt safe and effective manner. This course will give the participants a qualification at the highest level of first aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

How long is the First Aid At Work (FAW) Course?

Typically this course is run over 3 consecutive days. However the mandatory 18 hours required by the HSE can also be delivered over a longer period of time should staff availability be a problem to your organisation.

Is there an assessment to pass the First Aid At Work (FAW) Course?

The HSE no longer require an independent assessment of Emergency First Aid at Work candidates. Throughout the course you will be continually monitored and assessed. Along with a multiple choice question paper on the final afternoon.

Course Accreditation

To renew your First Aid at Work qualification you must complete a First Aid At Work Requalification course BEFORE your certificates expires, this will provide you with another three-year certificate. Once certificates have expired the first aider is no longer considered to be competent to act as a workplace first aider.
