ReAct Right - First Aid, AED and O2
This course provides you with the knowledge and training to act as a first responder and provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and / or apply an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) support in a medical emergency.
Learning First Aid could be the difference between someone dying or living. The skills learnt on this course are not just for divers but are transferable skills for everyday life.

Background to the ReAct Right - First Aid, AED and O2
The course is split into two parts, the same as most SSI courses.
- Online elearning preparation
- Highly practical learning and application of the skills
The Primary and Secondary care sections are undertaken by a combination of classroom teaching with lots and lots of practical practise to allow you the student time to become comfortable with the skill. We want everyone to walk away from this course with the willingness to apply the skills learnt in the unfortunate event of being faced with a life-threatening emergency

WHAT DO I NEED TO START THE REACT RIGHT COURSE?
Minimum Age: 12 years
HOW LONG WILL THE REACT RIGHT COURSE TAKE?
You will work through the online elearning at your own pace and then spend 1 day with us working on the practical elements
IS THERE AN ASSESSMENT TO TAKE TO PASS THE REACT RIGHT COURSE?
The online elearning element has a digital exam and the classroom assessment is ongoing by the instructor in respect of the student’s practical ability.
HOW LONG DOES THE REACT RIGHT CERTIFICATION LAST
On successful completion of the course a React Right certifcation is valid for two years is issued.
What is next after the REACT RIGHT CERTIFICATION?
This course is a prerequisite for the SSI Stress and Rescue speciality, so if a diver why not challenge yourself to what some say is the hardest but most rewarding recreational diver course
But can be used as a responsible person in the work place certification as it covers all of the requirements requested by UK HSE, but if you prefer have a look at our Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at work courses
Oakham Swimming Pool
The 25m heated swimming pool at Oakham School's Leisure Centre is perfect for scuba diver training and kids' diving courses. This state-of-the-art facility provides laned sections for focused training and a comfortable, warm environment, ensuring an ideal learning experience for divers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're refining your technique or introducing children to the wonders of diving, our pool offers the perfect setting.
Our pool session(s) are on Saturday evenings from 18:00 - 20:00, with a meet at the Dive Centre prior (this time will be confirmed when you book). The time at the Dive Centre is spent on various activities depending on which course you are undertaking but for all first session this will involve introducing you to your instructor, the dive equipment you will be using in the pool, a safety briefing and the evenings activities. During non term time then we have a pool session available on a Thursday from 19:00 - 21:00.
