Marelux build underwater housings and optics for photographers and film-makers shooting with mirrorless and cinema cameras. The range we carry runs from complete housings for specific camera bodies through to the parts that surround them: wide angle, fisheye and macro ports, focus gears, port conversion adaptors, a vacuum valve and optical flash triggering. Housings and ports are model specific, so check the manufacturer specification for the body and lens you own before ordering.

About Marelux

Marelux is an underwater imaging brand. They design the housings that let a camera body be taken underwater, along with the ports, gears and triggering hardware that turn a housing into a working rig — kit aimed at underwater photographers and at people shooting video and cinema below the surface.

What we stock from Marelux

Housings. Marelux housings are built around one specific camera body at a time, and we list several: the MX-A7RIII, the MX-A7RIV, the MX-Z6II/Z7II, the MX-FX3 and the Mini-LF. Each product page names the body it is made for. Before ordering, check the manufacturer specification against the exact camera you own — housings are not interchangeable between models.

Ports and optics. A 230mm optical glass fisheye port, a 180mm optical glass wide angle port supplied with a rear port cap and case, and macro ports in 71, 97 and 104. Which port suits you depends on the lens going behind it, and often on an extension as well, so this is one worth a conversation before you buy.

Adaptors and rig hardware. Marelux 20mm conversion adaptors for Sea & Sea and for Nauticam ports, a focus gear, and a vacuum valve.

Flash triggering. A manual fibre optic flash trigger, and the Marelux SOFT (Smart Optical Flash Tube).

Why we stock Marelux

Underwater imaging is unforgiving of half measures. A rig has to seal, and it has to keep working when you are cold, task loaded and a long way from a bench. Marelux make housings and optics for people who take that seriously, and the range sits naturally alongside the strobes, lights and accessories we already carry in Cameras, Strobes and Accessories.
