The XDEEP Closed DSMB is a highly visible, fully enclosed delayed surface marker buoy designed to maximise visibility and reliability at the surface. Available in 90cm and 140cm lengths, it is an essential safety item for recreational and technical divers.

Unlike open-bottom SMBs, the fully closed design ensures the buoy remains inflated on the surface even if line tension is removed, maintaining the largest possible visible area for boats and surface support.

The XDEEP Closed DSMB can be inflated either orally or via a low-pressure drysuit inflator hose, allowing fast inflation and a greater volume of gas for a firmer, more visible marker. A built-in dump valve helps prevent over-expansion during ascent.

Constructed from high-visibility orange nylon rated for life jackets and signalling devices, it features SOLAS reflective tape for increased visibility in low light. A transparent side pocket allows storage of a note, identification, or chemical lightstick.

Ingeniously, the DSMB can also be converted into a temporary floating life ring by clipping a double-ended bolt snap between the top and bottom attachment points.
