Guided Dive or Supervised Pool Session with a Dive Professional

Looking to ease into UK diving, build confidence after certification, or simply want the reassurance of a dive professional alongside you? Our Guided Dive and Supervised Pool Session options provide professional support tailored to your experience and diving needs.

For certified divers, a Guided Dive is ideal if you're new to UK diving, returning to diving after a break, trying new equipment or would simply like the additional confidence of diving with an experienced Dive Professional.

If you hold an SSI Scuba Diver certification, you can also use this service to access our pool sessions under the direct supervision of a qualified Dive Professional, allowing you to continue developing your diving skills within the limits of your certification.

Join us on one of our regular training days or club trips and enjoy a relaxed, confidence-building experience with the Dive Rutland team.

Guided Dive – Ideal for:

• Scuba Divers who require direct professional supervision within the limits of their certification

Supervised Pool Session – SSI Scuba Diver

If you hold an SSI Scuba Diver certification, your certification requires you to dive under the direct supervision of a qualified Dive Professional.

Our supervised pool sessions provide an opportunity to continue diving and developing your skills in a controlled environment while remaining within the limits of your certification.

These sessions are particularly useful if you want to:

• Maintain your in-water skills

• Build confidence before progressing your training

• Practise buoyancy and equipment skills

• Become familiar with new equipment

• Continue diving while working towards your SSI Open Water Diver certification

What's Included – Supervised Pool Session

For the SSI Scuba Diver Supervised Pool Session, standard scuba equipment is included:

• 7-litre scuba cylinder

• Regulator set

• BCD

You will need to provide your own mask, snorkel, exposure suit and fins, or these can be hired from Dive Rutland if required.

Equipment & Costs – Guided Open Water Dives

For open-water Guided Dives, site entrance fees, cylinders, equipment hire and any trip costs are not included and must be booked separately.

All equipment hire must be pre-booked in advance.

Club Members

Club members should pay by BACS so that their applicable club discount can be applied to their account.

When booking, please add the requested date and type of session to the booking notes.

If you are requesting a Guided Dive that isn't taking place on one of our regular training days, please contact us before booking so we can confirm availability.

Minimum booking for open-water Guided Dives: Two people and two dives.
