The Apeks MTX-R and Suunto D5 Package combines a rugged, cold-water regulator system with a full-colour, watch-style dive computer, giving divers a dependable setup for UK diving and travel. Apeks MTX-R & Suunto D5 Package Details

The Apeks MTX-R was developed from the military-specification MTX regulator and designed to meet demanding extreme cold-water performance requirements. Its environmentally sealed, over-balanced diaphragm first stage helps reduce the risk of ice formation, while the forged body and satin chrome finish provide a robust construction suited to demanding diving.

The MTX-R second stage is deliberately straightforward, with no dive adjustment controls that could contribute to free-flow issues in extreme conditions. Its Apeks heat exchanger helps transfer heat from the surrounding water to the expanding gas within the regulator, supporting cold-water performance.

The package includes the MTX-R first stage, MTX-R second stage and MTX-R octopus, giving you a complete regulator set.

Alongside the regulator, the Suunto D5 provides a clear and easy-to-read full-colour display for monitoring your dive. Bright colours, audible alerts and vibration notifications help highlight important information during the dive, while the rechargeable battery removes the need for routine disposable battery changes.

Bluetooth connectivity allows the D5 to connect to compatible smart devices for transferring dive information, reviewing dive profiles and installing firmware updates. For divers wanting integrated cylinder information, the D5 can also connect to up to three Suunto Tank Pods, allowing cylinder pressure and remaining air time to be displayed directly on the computer.

With its combination of extreme cold-water regulator performance and modern dive-computer functionality, this package is particularly well suited to divers looking for a capable setup for UK diving while retaining the convenience of a watch-style computer for travel.
