Regulator - Second Stage Reconfiguration
Apeks XTX Second Stage Left/Right Configuration Service
Configure your new Apeks XTX second stage to suit your preferred diving setup with our bespoke in-house conversion service. Our experienced technicians can reconfigure your regulator so the hose enters from either the right-hand or left-hand side, depending on your requirements.
Most manufacturers supply regulators in a standard right-hand configuration, where the low-pressure hose connects to the right side of the second stage. However, selected Apeks XTX models feature a reversible second stage design, allowing the hose to be routed from the left instead.
For many divers, particularly those using technical or DIR-style configurations, a left-hand setup can provide cleaner hose routing. When donating the regulator to an out-of-air buddy, the hose can deploy naturally with fewer bends or kinks, helping the second stage remain correctly orientated.
Our in-house technicians will professionally reconfigure your regulator before dispatch, ensuring it is ready to dive in your preferred configuration.
