XDEEP Backplate with DIR Harness Details

The XDEEP Backplate with DIR Harness is designed for divers who want the simplicity, reliability and streamlined configuration of a DIR-style backplate and harness system without having to assemble the components themselves. The complete system arrives fully assembled, allowing you to concentrate on making the final adjustments to achieve a comfortable fit.

You can choose between an aluminium backplate and a 3mm stainless-steel backplate, allowing the system to be matched to your diving requirements. The lightweight aluminium version is particularly useful for travelling divers or those diving in a wetsuit, where minimising equipment weight is important. The stainless-steel version weighs approximately 2.5kg and provides useful additional system weight, making it a popular choice for divers using drysuits.

The XDEEP DIR Harness uses stiff, water-resistant polyamide webbing designed to withstand the demands of regular diving. Its abrasion-resistant construction helps it cope with repeated exposure to seawater while remaining practical to put on and adjust when wet.
