Who Aquatec are

Aquatec make diving accessories rather than life support equipment. The range we carry sits at the practical end of a kit list: signalling devices, slates, spares kits and small mounting hardware, built to be simple and robust rather than clever.

It is the sort of equipment that gets very little thought until the moment you need it, which is a good argument for sorting it out before a trip rather than during one.

Signalling and getting attention

The Duo Alert and the Sub Alert are horns that work both underwater and at the surface. The Scuba Horn is a further audible option, and the Tank Banger is the mechanical alternative, with no air supply involved. Service kits are stocked for the alert horns so they can be maintained rather than replaced.

Slates, spares and small hardware

For writing underwater there is a multi layer wrist slate and a compact slate supplied with a pencil. For maintenance there are O-ring kits, including one that comes with the tools to fit them. The rest of the range is the hardware that holds a kit together: a twin low pressure hose clip, a coil lanyard, a tank carry handle for getting cylinders to the water, and a multifunctional swivel hanger for drying a suit, boots, BCD and regulator afterwards.

Lighting

The LED-1700 is a compact mask mounted light. It is aimed at reading gauges and notes, and at being the back up to your back up, rather than at replacing a primary torch. If you are after a main light, look at our torches and strobes.
