Beaver

Beaver is the brand most divers own without quite noticing: the boltsnaps, reels, weight belts, drysuit seals and small spares that hold everything else together. What we carry from them runs from single O-rings and replacement fin straps through to cylinder charging adapters, latex neck and wrist seals, wreck reels and weight systems. If something small has failed and you need one part to fix it, this is usually the place to look.

Who Beaver are

Beaver is a familiar name in UK dive centres, and it has built that position on accessories, hardware and consumables rather than on headline items. It is the sort of brand you accumulate without ever quite deciding to: the clip on your wing, the spool in your pocket, the seal on your drysuit cuff, the O-ring that saved a dive.

What we stock from Beaver

Clips and hardware make up a large part of it: stainless carabiners in 50mm, 70mm and 100mm, bronze boltsnaps in small and large, snap hooks and removable D-rings.

Lanyards and retractors include comfort and large wrist lanyards, a heavy duty torch lanyard, clip shock lines and a mini sea coil retractor line.

Reels run to the Kingfisher and the Osprey wreck-line reel, and weight systems to the Pro Shot and standard weight belts, weight retainers and heavy duty 50mm webbing.

Drysuit seals are stocked as latex wrist seals in cone and bottle profiles, and as heavy duty latex neck seals.

Cylinder accessories include DIN dust caps, a 232 bar A-clamp to 300 bar DIN charging adapter, extra long valve handles, cylinder mesh, an analyser check gauge, nitrox contents stickers and magnetic compressed gas symbols.

Regulator accessories cover silicone comfort mouthpieces, octopus balls and holders, hose protectors and an Inspector intermediate pressure gauge, along with an Apeks-type CEJN coupling inflation hose.

For in the water there is the Mercury mask and the California Dry Top snorkel, with snorkel clips, loops and mouthpieces, Sprint full foot fins, Ocean 7 hard soled and Titanium 6.5mm boots, and easy fin spring straps and strap-and-buckle sets.

Then the sundries that quietly matter: large slates, dive log binders and inserts, assorted O-ring packs, beeswax, Aquasure, aqua-tape, dry and cargo pouches and a 20mm watch strap.

Matching a part to your kit

Accessories are where a lot of dives quietly go wrong: a boltsnap that jams, a perished seal, a fin strap that lets go on the shot line. Most of it is cheap to prevent and thoroughly irritating to discover at the water's edge. Fit and compatibility do vary, though, particularly on seals, adapters and straps, so if you are matching a part to kit you already own, check the manufacturer specification or bring the item in and we will match it up with you.

Yes, and a lot of the Beaver range is exactly that. Single boltsnaps and carabiners, assorted O-ring packs, replacement mouthpieces, fin straps and buckles, weight retainers and lengths of webbing are all available on their own. If you only need one small part to get a set of kit back in the water, that is fine.
