SSI React Right – First Aid, AED & Oxygen Provider

The SSI React Right – First Aid, AED & Oxygen Provider course equips you with the confidence and practical skills to respond effectively during a medical emergency. Whether you're a diver, work in a customer-facing role or simply want the confidence to help family, friends or colleagues, this internationally recognised course teaches essential first aid, CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen Administration skills.

The skills you gain aren't just valuable for divers—they're transferable life skills that could make the difference while waiting for the emergency services to arrive.

NB: If only 31st December is showing as an available date, or our advertised dates don't suit you, simply book the 31st December option or contact us. We'll arrange a course date that works for you.

Why Learn First Aid?

Every year, thousands of lives could be improved—or even saved—by someone with basic first aid knowledge.

  • Up to 150,000 people in the UK die each year in situations where first aid could make a difference.

  • Around 150,000 people suffer a stroke every year in the UK.

  • Only 9% of UK parents say they feel confident performing first aid on their own children.

Learning first aid gives you the confidence to act quickly and effectively while professional medical help is on its way.

Background to the SSI React Right Course

Like many of our diver training programmes, SSI React Right is delivered in two stages to maximise your learning.

  1. Complete the online SSI digital learning at your own pace.

  2. Join us for a highly practical classroom-based training day.

The online learning introduces the theory before you arrive, allowing us to spend the majority of the day practising skills, working through realistic scenarios and building confidence. Our aim is that every student leaves feeling capable and willing to step forward should they ever be faced with a medical emergency.
