Every dive is an opportunity to discover something new. But how much more exciting is it when you can recognise the creatures you are seeing, understand their behaviour, and know what makes each species unique?
The SSI Fish Identification Speciality helps you move beyond simply seeing fish underwater and teaches you the skills to identify, understand and appreciate the incredible diversity of aquatic life.
The SSI Fish Identification program provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify common fish families and species, understand their characteristics, and learn how to observe aquatic life responsibly.
Whether you are exploring UK waters, tropical reefs, wrecks or your local dive site, being able to recognise the marine life around you adds a whole new dimension to your diving.
This Speciality certification also counts as one of the four Speciality certifications required for your SSI Master Scuba Diver certification.
