Divepro

Divepro make dive lighting and very little else: handheld and umbilical torches, video lights, macro and coloured heads, and the batteries, chargers, arms and clamps that go with them. The range we carry runs from pocket-sized backups through primary torches to full camera lighting rigs. Output, burn time and depth rating vary considerably between models, so check the manufacturer specification for the light you are considering.

    Who Divepro are

Divepro is a dive lighting specialist. Where a general equipment manufacturer might offer a torch or two alongside everything else they make, the Divepro catalogue is lights, the mounts that hold them and the power that runs them. That focus is why the range reaches into so many corners: snoot lighting for macro photography, red, blue and ultraviolet heads, and umbilical torches built for both sidemount and backmount configurations.

    What we stock from Divepro

Handheld torches span the S series, with the S10, S11, S17, S20, S26 and S40, the compact D1 and D5-3, the D6, and multifunction heads such as the M4 with wide, spot, red, blue and ultraviolet modes.

Umbilical and canister torches are represented by the CL-8, available in backmount, sidemount and rotating cable versions.

Video lights cover the W, G and D series, alongside the Vision Pro Plus, the Master 8 and the Master 8 Plus. For close-up and specialist work there are the MP10 and MP30 macro snoot lights and the M35 red, blue and ultraviolet head.

Power is covered by 18650, 21700, 26650 and 26800 cells, 14.8V and 16.8V battery packs, single and double slot USB chargers, and wireless charging packs.

Mounting hardware includes ball mounts, butterfly clamps, light body clamps, float arms in 60mm and 80mm, an extendable double handled tray, YS and cold shoe mounts, action camera handles, and Goodman handles including a thumb loop version. Frosted diffusion filters, the F-01D diffuser and ambient light filters round it out.

    Choosing and running them

We deliberately avoid quoting a single figure for output, burn time or depth rating across this range, because it would be wrong for most of it. A compact backup torch and an umbilical primary are not comparable on any of those measures. Check the manufacturer specification for the exact model you are looking at, and if you are trying to work out what you actually need for the diving you do, talk to us.

Whether any particular light is suitable as a primary or as a backup for your diving, and especially for anything in an overhead environment such as a wreck, cave or mine, depends on the light, on your training and on your dive plan. We will not offer a blanket rule on that. Check the manufacturer specification, and talk to us or to your instructor.

Battery and charger compatibility is model specific too. Cell sizes and pack voltages differ across the range, so if you are buying spare cells or a replacement charger, confirm the specification against your own light rather than assuming it carries over from another model.

    Ordering Divepro

One practical note. Our Divepro products will not allow you to purchase if they are out of stock, because our system is not directly connected to the distributor warehouse. If you would like something that shows as unavailable, contact us and we will find out the stock position before you order.

It depends entirely on the model. Output, beam angle, burn time and depth rating vary a great deal across the range, and a compact backup torch and an umbilical primary are not remotely comparable, so we do not quote a single figure. Check the manufacturer specification for the exact model you are considering. If you tell us what diving you are doing, we can help you narrow it down.
Not always. Cell sizes and pack voltages differ between models across the range, so before buying spare cells or a replacement charger, check the manufacturer specification for your particular light rather than assuming it carries over. Send us the model and we will confirm what it takes.
