SSI Dry Suit Diving Speciality
The SSI Drysuit Speciality allows you to experience UK Diving or cooler climates and some of the amazing sites we have around our amazing coastline as well as just extending your diving season.
If you want to see the spectacular and prolific aquatic life often found in cooler water climates you'll need to stay warm and that means a dry suit. Yes you can dive here in the UK in a wetsuit but in winter months when the visibility is generally better why not take advantage of it.
Diving in a drysuit, provides you with the means to extend the UK diving season, stay warm and dry, but does change your buoyancy characteristics so this is a great course to learn all aspects of drysuit diving including looking after, packing away, weighting and streamlining of your equipment and the differences between the types of drysuits available.
