Background
Much like the Try Dive or Discover Scuba Diving programme which lets you experience the thrill of diving underwater whilst under the close supervision of one of our Dive Professionals
The Discover Full Face Mask session allows you to master some basic concepts of diving in an Ocean Reef Full Face Mask, gain experience of breathing and seeing much more underwater
What do I need to Participate in the Discover Full Face Mask Session?
Be at least 12 years old
What will I do during the Discover Full Face Mask Session?
Our programme begins at our Dive Centre where you will be fitted for an Ocean Reef Full Face Mask, followed by an introductory talk and dive briefing covering some important points on safety and what to expect.
Followed by a pool session at Oakham School Pool, Kilburn Road, Oakham. Our pools sessions are Thursdays: 19:00 - 21:00 and Saturdays: 18:00 - 20:00.
After arriving at our local pool facilities, you’ll enter the water ready for your full face mask scuba adventure., where we will help you through every step of your adventure.
What do I need to bring to my Discover Full Face Mask Session?
- Your sense of adventure
- A completed Discover Full Face Mask Statement
- Your parent or guardian if you are under 16.
- Swimming costume, shorts/t-shirt, towel.
What is my next adventure after a Discover Full Face Mask session?
Enrol in the Full Face Mask Speciality OR if you are a new diver you can integrate the full face mask speciality with your full Open Water course after completing confined water session three.
Whether you approach the Discover Full Face Mask session for a “try” or “experience” or both, we are sure the adventure will stay clearly in your memory and your diving will never be the same again
Prior to any Diver training course students need to complete a Mandatory Medical Questionaire.
Please ensure that you have read the Medical Statement and are sure that you will be able to commence any diver training PRIOR to paying as our Training Terms Conditions apply after payment has been made.
A doctor's confirmation of fitness to dive is required if you answer YES to any medical condition on the Medical Statement.
Please note that if you need a Physician signoff most of our local surgeries WILL NOT sign this form, we suggest you contact Midlands Dive Chamber 01788 579 555 in this instance.
