First Stage Performance

At the heart of the Helix Pro is a balanced diaphragm first stage that provides consistent gas delivery regardless of depth or cylinder pressure.

The over-balanced mechanism automatically increases interstage pressure as depth increases, compensating for the increased density of breathing gas and reducing breathing effort. The result is smooth, effortless breathing performance from the start of your dive until the final ascent.

Cold Water Protection

The Permanent Dry Chamber isolates the internal components from the external environment, keeping the mechanism clean and dry. With no moisture inside the chamber, the risk of ice formation is reduced, improving freeze resistance for cold-water diving.

The heat exchanger on the second stage provides additional protection by helping prevent ice formation around the valve inlet.

Protection & Longevity

The Auto Closure Device (ACD) automatically seals the first stage inlet when it is disconnected from the cylinder. This helps prevent debris and corrosive water entering the regulator, protects internal lubrication and helps maintain oxygen compatibility.

The durable Blue High Pressure Seat forms a reliable seal with every breath and is designed to provide consistent performance across a wide range of diving conditions and gas mixes.

A protective dust cap is attached to the regulator body, helping protect the inlet fitting and ACD from damage while keeping the first stage sealed when not connected to a cylinder.

Practical Hose Configuration

The first stage features a streamlined T-shaped port arrangement for improved hose routing:

• 2 x High Pressure ports (7/16")

• 4 x Medium Pressure ports (3/8")

• Available in DIN (300 bar / 4,350 psi max.)

• Available in Yoke (232 bar / 3,300 psi max.)

Second Stage Comfort & Performance

The pneumatically balanced second stage provides smooth, easy breathing at all depths, reducing breathing effort and maintaining consistent performance throughout the dive.

The front cover opening channels allow water to flow smoothly across the diaphragm. The wide radial openings help reduce the chance of freeflow in strong currents while lowering cracking effort by up to 20%.

The adjustable Venturi Control Switch allows the diver to fine-tune airflow:

• MIN setting – reduces airflow assistance, helping prevent freeflow during surface use or when entering the water

• MAX setting – provides maximum airflow assistance for easier breathing during the dive

The ergonomic control lever is designed for easy adjustment, even when wearing thick gloves.

Comfort Features

Long dives demand comfort, and the Helix Pro includes features designed to reduce jaw fatigue and improve usability.

The ComfoBite™ mouthpiece uses a unique palate bridge to hold the second stage securely in position while reducing strain on the jaw. Made from hypoallergenic silicone, it combines comfort with durability.

The reusable mouthpiece clip allows quick, tool-free mouthpiece replacement, reducing waste and simplifying maintenance.

The braided hose provides excellent flexibility, comfort and easier packing for travel.
