SSI Advanced Specialty Diver Award
- All Core Scuba Equipment
- All Course Materials and Certification
- Services of your Highly Trained and Professional Instructor and Support Team
Please note: The SSI Advanced Specialty Diver Award is NOT the same as the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
The SSI Advanced Specialty Diver Award is a recognition automatically awarded by SSI when you have achieved:
✅ Four different SSI Specialties
✅ One of those Specialties must be Deep Diving
✅ A minimum of 24 logged open water dives in the SSI App
This award recognises divers who have developed their skills, expanded their knowledge, and committed to becoming more capable and confident underwater.
There is no separate course to book and no additional certification dive.
You simply continue your diving journey by completing SSI Specialties and logging your dives.
A typical pathway may include Specialties such as:
Deep Diving
Dry Suit Diving
Perfect Buoyancy
Enriched Air Nitrox
Navigation
Wreck Diving
Computer Diving
Once you meet the SSI requirements, the award is automatically issued.
By completing multiple Specialties, you develop the skills that make you a more confident and independent diver.
You can:
Improve buoyancy and trim
Increase your diving knowledge
Extend your depth capabilities
