Corrective and optical lenses

Most of this collection is lenses. Some masks take a drop-in replacement lens ground to a prescription, and Aqualung, Atomic, Hollis, Mares, Ocean Reef, Oceanic and Tusa each make them for specific models within their own ranges. Others take a bonded or stick-on lens, which fits a wider variety of masks. Lenses are normally sold per eye and per mask model, so check the product page against the exact mask you own, and check the manufacturer specification for the corrections available. Fogcity also list a fog-resistant lens for twin-window masks. If you are not sure what you need, send us your prescription and we will look it up.

Straps, slap straps and covers

Silicone straps, wide fabric straps, slap straps and strap covers are here from Aqualung, Dive Rutland, Fourth Element, Shark, Tusa and Waterproof. A wide fabric strap sits differently on long hair, and under a hood, than the standard silicone one, which is the usual reason people change. Fitment goes by buckle type rather than by brand, so check the listing.

Snorkel keepers and storage

Beaver snorkel clips and loops hold a snorkel onto the mask strap, and the DynamicNord MB-100 mask box keeps a mask from being crushed in the bottom of a kit bag.

Bring the mask into the shop, or send us a photo of the strap buckle or the lens frame. Fitment on this shelf is specific and fiddly, and we would rather check it with you than have you post something back. Frequently asked questions

Usually only if it is made for that mask. Aqualung, Atomic, Hollis, Mares, Ocean Reef, Oceanic and Tusa each make drop-in optical lenses for specific models in their own ranges, and they do not cross between brands.

Check the listing against the exact mask you own, and check the manufacturer specification for the correction range. Where no drop-in lens exists for your mask, a bonded or stick-on lens is the more flexible option.

Generally they are sold individually, one per eye, so that each eye can take a different correction. If both eyes need one, add both to your basket.

The listing will say which way a given lens is sold. If you are unsure, send us a copy of your prescription and we will tell you what to order.

A replacement is usually the cheapest fix. We stock silicone straps, wide fabric straps, slap straps and strap covers.

Which one fits depends on the buckle on your mask rather than on the brand name, so bring the mask into the shop or send us a photo of the buckle and we will confirm before you order.
