    Who Ocean Reef are

Ocean Reef are an Italian manufacturer working mainly on integrated full face masks, underwater communication systems and full face snorkelling masks. A full face mask holds the second stage in place and leaves your mouth free, which is what makes voice communication between divers possible.

The range runs from surface snorkelling masks through to integrated dive masks used by instructors and working divers. Which one suits you depends on whether you want it for snorkelling, for scuba, or for dives where comms matter, so check the manufacturer specification for the model you are considering.

    • Full face masks for diving and snorkelling
    • Underwater communication systems for team and training use
    • Designs aimed at a range of experience levels
    • Designed and manufactured in Italy

Whether you are diving in cold water, instructing students, or exploring at the surface, a full face mask changes how a dive feels compared with a standard mask and separate regulator. That is worth experiencing before you commit to one.

Before you dive a full face mask

A full face mask is set up, put on and cleared differently from a standard mask worn with a separate regulator, and the details vary between models. We are not going to give you a blanket rule on a collection page. Read the manufacturer specification for the mask you are considering, and talk to us about familiarisation and training before you take one into the water. It is also worth trying a mask against your own face in the shop, because seal and fit vary as much here as they do on any other mask.
