SSI XR Extended Range Foundations

Ever watched another diver glide effortlessly through the water while you're constantly adjusting your buoyancy, kicking harder than you need to, or wondering why your gas disappears so quickly?

The SSI XR Extended Range Foundations programme is designed to develop the core skills that separate a competent diver from an exceptional one. Whether your goal is technical diving, improving your recreational diving, or simply becoming more comfortable and confident underwater, this course provides the perfect platform.

Over the programme you'll refine the fundamental skills that make every dive easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Better buoyancy means less effort and improved air consumption. Better trim means less drag and more control. Better propulsion techniques mean you can move precisely through the water without disturbing the environment or exhausting yourself.

This isn't a course about collecting another certification card. It's about becoming a better diver.

This course is for any diver who wants to become noticeably better underwater, not just future technical divers.

The course can be completed using a single-cylinder setup, twinset, or sidemount configuration, making it suitable for recreational divers looking to improve their skills as well as those preparing for future technical diving training.

No courses scheduled above.  Get in touch as we run courses all of the time and to a mutually convenient schedule.

The XR Extended Range Foundations program is designed to improve your buoyancy, trim and propulsion techniques and provide a stable platform from which to improve all of your diving.
