PADI Night Diver Speciality

Overview

Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during the day) are active at night.

Your Adventures In Diving Night Adventure Dive may count towards the Night Diver Specialty course at instructor discretion

What Do I need to start the PADI Night Diver Speciality?

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
Minimum age: 12 years old

What Will I do during the course?

You'll learn

Night dive planning and organisation
Procedures, techniques and potential problems.
You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate at night.
Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different, you'll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life

How Long does this course take?

We undertake 3 night training dives OVER 2 days - unless you have a credit Adventure Dive from your Advanced Open Water course, then it is 2 dives on one night.

Trips provide great opportunities for Night Diving!

Entrance fees for open water site and personal travel costs.

What is my Next Adventure after the Night Speciality?

This speciality counts towards your Advanced Open Water Speciality and counts as one speciality towards your Master Scuba Diver Certification

Prior to any Diver training course students need to complete a Mandatory Medical Questionaire.

Please ensure that you have read the Medical Statement and are sure that you will be able to commence any diver training PRIOR to paying as our Training Terms Conditions apply after payment has been made.

A doctor's confirmation of fitness to dive is required if you answer YES to any medical condition on the Medical Statement.
