PADI Drift Diver Speciality
The feeling of just going with the flow is exhilarating, but needs to be done properly
Drift diving can be fun and make you feel as if you are flying through the water. Ton enjoy your flight, you need to ensure you have planned the dive, be a really attentive dive buddy and have the skills to remain safe.
At the end of the day there is nothing to stop you from going out and doing a drift dive, but do you really know how to dive in a drift? Do you know that currents don't flow uniformly?
As drift diving or for that matter any type of diving in a current is an extra element of risk that can put you in harms way if you do not know or understand what you are up against. This course teaches you how to safely plan and participate in drift diving be that using an ocean or river current to fly. If done properly drift diving can be relaxing and exhilarating at the same time
You may also count this speciality towards your Master Scuba Diver certification
