It is always a struggle to think of something new and exciting for your party, so here is something different. Whether celebrating a birthday, looking for a fun afternoon or evening out or even just a new activity for a group of friends.

Bring along a group of budding young scuba divers for a fun filled party with our professional, friendly CRB checked instructors in a safe pool environment.

The pool we use is Oakham School Pool, Kilburn Road, Oakham with sessions on a Saturday evening between 18:00 - 20:00. But if you have a pool and it meets all of the required safety standards then we can run a party at that location at times to suit.

We will make sure everyone has plenty of FUN !!!

This will be a party they will remember for years to come, something truly different, adventurous and great fun.

What do the children need to start?

They need to be aged 8+

A week prior to attending the party all participants are required to have completed one of the following with the forms presented at the Dive Centre to review.

If any child has a YES on either of these forms then Medical approval for those children with indicated medical issues is required using this separate form - PADI Medical Statement

It is very important that the required forms are correctly completed and signed and that any medical issues that are highlighted on the medical questionnaire have been approved with written evidence from a GP or diving physician. We are NOT able to allow participants to take part without these forms.

What is the Maximum party size?

Minimum group size is 6 with a maximum of 12

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Participants should bring along a swimming costume, a towel and a Rash Vest or T-Shirt to wear in the pool.

Adult Supervisions

For children's parties we require at least one responsible adult to be present throughout. Young children must be supervised at all times

What will you do?

Following an initial briefing, video and equipment walk through, you will be kitted up, taken through the basics of breathing underwater and then the fun will begin.  This is generally undertaken at the Dive Centre prior to the pool session - meet 16:30.

The pool session will involve underwater team games, relays, egg & spoon races and other activities - age dependant.  We can guarantee you plenty of fun, enjoyment and laughs along the way.

An underwater camera is provided to allow participants to take their own photo's and we'll also take some wonderful pictures at no additional charge (subject to consent forms being signed by ALL parties prior to the party).

We have our own pool or access to a pool

We try to be as flexible as possible and understand that in some circumstance completing the session at your location may be the best option for you.
This option is subject to location of pool and suitability, please speak to us as we are happy to use your pool if it meets the minimum requirements, numbers and costs may vary.

How do I book?

Due to the increasing popularity of Scuba Parties, bookings need to be made 3 - 4 months in advance to avoid disappointment.  Give us a ring or drop us an email or chat we will be happy to help.

What is Next?

This is about the children having fun, but you might find that you get asked if they can continue and learn to dive and there are so many ways that children can become more involved in scuba diving with many different programs to suit all ages from 8 upwards. As the future ambassadors of the oceans; getting children involved in such a thrilling and exciting hobby can really enrich their lives.

They can learn valuable life skills, discipline, organisation and responsibility whilst having fun and getting hands on understanding of diving theory. Most importantly though they will love the exhilaration of completing underwater tasks, swimming amongst the coral and recognising different fish species; there's no adventure quite like it!

8 and 9 year olds can enrol onto as many PADI Bubblemaker sessions as they like but the Seal Team program is where the real fun is! This is also a great option for older children who are not ready to take on the PADI Junior Open Water Course and just want to make memories and bubbles in the pool without the in depth dive theory or the responsibility of becoming a fully certified Open Water Diver.

However, some children will feel ready to take on the challenge of the PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course and will become life long lovers of the underwater world with a certification ready to take them on adventures across the globe for the rest of their lives!
