PADI ReActivate

Haven't been diving lately and want a quick Scuba refresher.  The PADI ReActivate program is the perfect way to refresh your dive skills and knowledge from your previous diving courses before jumping back into the water.

If it’s been a little well since you’ve been diving, or you are planning a trip; or just want to get back into diving; or you are a bit apprehensive about getting back in the water; or just want to freshen up your skills, then PADI ReActivate is for you.

Its best feature is that is accommodates any diver who wants a refresher, whether it is a minor yearly tune-up or a major dive skills and knowledge review.

PADI ReActivate is a convenient, prescriptive and allows you the diver to progress at a personal pace and targets kill skills and any areas that need attention.

Using PADI e-learning you will run dive scenarios and make decisions that test your understanding of important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management.  You move through ReActivate at your own pace, and delve deeper into topics when you need or want to after completing the theory review you then go diving with one of our PADI Professionals.

It's quick and easy, and good preparation.  The best part is, when you have completed the knowledge and in-water skill refresher, then you will receive a replacement e-card with a ReActivated date on it, which is accessible via the PADI App, which shows everyone that you are up to date and ready to dive!

What Will I do as part of the PADI ReActivate

Prior to your confined water we will supply you with an access code so you can download and use the PADI Reactivate Touch.  Where you will be presented with various realistic diving scenarios through text or a video and you will answer a multiple choice question on each scenario.  Correct answers will progress you through the scenarios and incorrect responses will explain the correct answer and ask a similar question to ensure that you have understood.

After completing all topics you complete the ReActivate Quick Review online, when answered correctly you will be presented with a certificate which you bring with you on your confined water skill date.

In the water a Dive Rutland PADI Professional will help you regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving.  You'll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

During the Water Skills part you will have to assemble your equipment, enter the water and:

  1. Remove,  replace and clear the mask
  2. Become neutrally buoyant and hover
  3. Use the weight system’s quick release to become positively buoyant in water too deep to stand in
  4. Ascend using an alternate air source and establish positive buoyancy on the surface
  5. Perform a CESA

After this our Instructor will help you to practice and SCUBA skills you would like to practice.

Couldnt recommend Tracy and her team enough for a first aid course. Having to renew it every 3 years used to send me to sleep. Not with these guys! professional, up to date and with lots of toys to play with, without the death by powerpoint.
